Q. How do you choose a minimum test score for general admissions purposes?
A. Choosing a minimum score for an adult education program or vocational training is a delicate balancing act. On the one hand, Wonderlic has accurate data to show what the average test scores are for job applicants for these positions. On the other hand, hands-on training helps lower scoring individuals become more qualified for a specific job. Wonderlic consultants work with schools to identify minimum scores for each vocational training program that increase student success, improve student retention rates, lower student loan default rates, and improve career placement programs while accommodating the school’s need to provide services to the most students.
